I have seen this subject before and have tried a few things related to a recurring squeak I hear possibly from passenger side rear wheel. Doesnt squeak at first while driving then appears. Stops when I apply brakes. I have new rotors, pads, and calipers but still have the noise. I tried putting lubricant behind pads between caliper but still there. Anymore ideas?

Possibly a wheel bearing/? rotors that need cleaning since new components installed? Jim
Did you bed your rotors when you replaced them? If not, search on the net for that term, there are lots of opinions out there on how it should be done, but all are similar.

I did follow the instructions that came with the rotors and pads. The squeak was there before and after rotors and pads were replaced
That makes sense. How did you confirm that, just instal new one?
I sprayed white grease or Teflon spray on the u joint and drove the car. The squeal went away or lessened briefly enough to determine that was the cause. Then I replaced the u-joints.

Just under 70,000 miles. The right side was making a squeaking noise and the left side, after heating up was making a snapping sound like you were tapping a hacksaw blade on a metal table. The needles on the left side were binding and broken up. If you are doing it yourself, it's also a good idea to use a flange reinforcement plate to keep from distorting or bending the flanges when removing the joints.

Ok thanks, this 78 has 44k so hoping it was just something minor but I was going to do it my self
see if you happen to notice any excessive brake dust around that wheel.
could be a partially collapsed brake hose. that will sometime not let the brake fluid return. the noise from this type of problem would be very minor.
