I used that same kit to convert and was happy with the end result. One of the belts did not retract correctly and the company sent me a new one, no questions asked. Just take your time with the seats and feel for the frame before you drill. Once the hole is in the leather you can feel around for the frame with the drill bit before your hit it. Just go slow...you really don't want an extra hole
I bought this kit with the intention of putting it in my car. But when it came time to put a drill bit to my legit 7500 mile leather seats... Nope. Guess my safety has a price after all.

I just use the rear seat belt set up out of a 98-2002 Camaro/ firebird. My car is far from original. Since I have the 78-82 seats the belt just wraps around the side when I put it on.
