With the help of a CF member I found my '71 Packer Vette. It is the only yellow/green Big Block Corvette I have ever seen or heard of. Does anyone know of any other original yellow/green Big Blocks? Thank you
Congratulations, glad you finally found what you were looking for. Looks like it's in great shape.
Yes, very happy with car. Prefer a small block for driving. Still looking for a '70 LT-1 Convert in yellow/green. I doubt they made any. This is the next best thing. Thank you everybody for your help. If you want or need something Corvette related, ask the guys on the CF!
Congrats from one Cheesehead to another. Now...closeup of the trim tag please?
Thank you! I will try to remember to take a picture of the trim tag and post it this week. My Research tells me yellow/green was only available from 69 thru 71 as a suggested GM color combo. I have only heard of one other Small Block '71, and no Big Blocks in yellow/green. Could this be the only one they made? I doubt that, but maybe the only one left. I am thinking a '69 427 will show up. I have seen several Warbonnet Yellow/green cars listed on C3 registries. I guess I just like to be different. I guarantee I will NOT dye the interior black to sell it, like some people have told me. Its not for sale anyway, unless Aaron and boys are a big disappointment this year Nope, still not for sale! The Pack always comes back!
First yellow/green LS5 I have seen,I like it. If you could post the pics and info on the LS5 owners thread here in C3 General and trim tag pic...Thanks Jerry
VIN number 194379S721119 is a 1969 yellow/green 400hp 427 automatic coupe.
The car is on eBay right now for sale by a dealer. The car itself has been for sale for at least 2 years by various dealers.

Just checked all the '69 Vettes on Ebay and no yellow/green cars. Maybe it sold already, its such a popular color combo : )

having trouble finding "owners" thread. Do I go to C3 general and then put "owners" in search box?
thank you for you reply. Looking forward to finding it

GO PACK, GO!! Less than a month to the NFL Opener
Word! I would say I'm shocked at this combo, and certainly never had seen one before this thread. But knowing what we do about ordering forms in the mid-late 60's, I'm not really that shocked! Had to have been Packer fans doing this...GO PACK GO!

I am starting to think it takes an oddball like me to appreciate this color combo. It was not popular in the day and apparently not now, either. Oh well, the unique is what I seek!
Not sure what the reserve is on the '69, seems like a bargain at $25.6K. Would be a fitting stablemate for my '71 LS-5 Convert.
In '70 and '71 yellow/green was a suggested combination, but in '69 yellow/green was a special order. This '69 is a rare one, for sure! Hope it finds an appreciative new home!

The color is very rare, especially in a 400hp car. But as we all know, rarity does not translate to high value without desirability. This car also has a good pop but the window sticker shown in the auction is fake. I have pics of the pop that is not shown in the auction. The one thing that hurts this car is not so much the color, but that's its an automatic. I don't know what it sold for but prior to this auction I remember the asking price was in the 40s.

I called the dealership that has it on ebay to ask the buy it now price. He said he was busy and would call me back. Ill see what happens. I need it like I need a hole in my head, but its always fun to shop. Hagerty says deduct 10% for auto trans. Ive seen automatics bring top dollar at auctions. Just depends on whos there bidding. Dealers tell me C2 automatics sell fast and bring the money the 4 speeds do, due to their rarity in those years and the fact that most of the C2 buyers are older folks and prefer automatics so they can tell their wife they bought it for her. Reminds me of when my Dad gave my Mom a Shotgun for a Christmas present. My guide at the Corvette Museum stated that 80% of the new Vettes are automatics. How things have changed since the 1960s.
