I have a 73 the apparently ran over something hard before I got it.
It damaged the passenger side floor pan fiberglass where it goes from flat to being angled up toward the firewall. It looks like this seam was originally glued together at the factory. Is there a good panel adhesive that works with fiberglass that I could use to fix the parts that are separated but not damaged?
Pictures of your damaged area would certainly help. I don`t think I`d just try to glue it back together though. It sounds like it should be laminated back together with some mat and resin, as you would repair most any other fiberglass damage?
My suggestion is to go to the paint and body section. Dub who does this for a living is showing how and what to use for these type repairs. It will be a combination of VPA (vette panel adhesive) mat & resin. Look for the lingfelter post by Dub.
