68 small block alternator brackets with headers
Hi all . . I am losing my mind trying to get alternator brackets that will work with my 68 350. It had a march serpentine system that was a pain in the *** and always squeeled like crazy. Ive tried the bracket set that mounts to the front drivers side header bolts with the chrome long L bracket that bolts to the upper drivers side water pump bolt but the bracket on the headers would get tweaked a bit and cause an out of alignment and it even came loose a couple times. I am back again to trying to find OEM brackets that will work with headers. Why the F hasn't anyone made some good brackets that work with headers. My next attempt is going to be with the GM OEM style as linked below. Can anyone please tell me WTF will work? The PS pump is also on that side and I am using the factory bracket for that also which kinda sucks too so if anyone has a better option let me know.
