I added another Vette to the garage. It's a 91 L98 6 speed. I have read a number of posts in this section of people really not liking C4s but if you are looking for a fun car to just enjoy these are a super bargain. I bought this from the grand daughter of the original owner 47K miles $8100. It has more performance than most C3s and will out handle any stock C3. Love my 70 but don't look down on the C4s, still Corvettes all the way.

Very nice I've had 3 C4's and loved them. Great handling cars that make a lot of low end torque. World class touring car that deserves alot more respect than it gets. They ushered in the modern performance era for Corvettes. They are very complex and can be expensive to fix. Some parts are discontinued as well. Nice deal. Enjoy it.

Sorry to tell you this, but you have Corvetteitis and unfortunately it is an incurable condition. Frequent trips from time to time can help with the symptoms. C4s are great, enjoy, looks like a nice ride

Totally agree - clean shape - understated but still very sporty. Just don't like that wide door sill - tough for guys over 6 ft

I had an 86 and a new 90. Loved those cars. The 90 was just too much $$ for me at the time and I had to cut it loose. A black/black 6 speed loaded coupe, $26K out the door.

Enjoy your beautiful cars!

These c4's are a blast to drive around. Along with decent gas mileage. Still, I get more looks and comments on the '80 though.

My buddy just bought a 94 6spd convertible with 89000 miles for $5200. A screaming bargain, and it runs great. I mostly just needs some cosmetic help in a few places. I told him, I'd have bought it too, and I'd use it as my daily driver because it's cheap transportation!

When the C4 first came out, I didn't like the styling. And didn't appreciate the performance improvements it represented. Now, I realize that the C4 elevated the Corvette onto the world stage. I now have a true appreciation for the car, and often recommend it to friends wanting to get into Corvettes on a budget. It's a lot of car for the money.

I like c4's. They're so cheap, handle well, and remind me of my childhood. I also just added a second corvette and if I had the garage space I'd have a sweet c4 in a heartbeat. No room. Well done!

Very well said. Fortunately not as complex or expensive to fix as a C5 or newer.
