Wiring question
I bought my 81 with a swapped motor, was told it was a L48. There were some issues with it so I'm having it cleaned up, adding a mild cam, flat top pistons etc. The car was not running when I got it, motor was bolted in but nothing hooked up. PO removed AC, started to relocate Alt to PS. I bought new brackets and am going to relocate the alt back to DS and installing a HEI dizzy. Question/ questions is, I am not going to reinstall the smog equipment but at some point, will probably reinstall ac. What is the best article for wiring in this motor? What wires can I delete due to smog? Would like to do this before motor is done.

Not sure I would "delete" any wires. At some point someone may want to put things back the way they go. What if the PO had deleted the a/c wiring, and now you might put it back in. Tape them into the harness or loom so they won't short out and keep them.
