I am beginning to shop around for a painter in the CT area. I don't think I want to pay for an award winning show paint job, mostly interested in a nice paint job for a driver. Can anyone recommend a painter in the area?

Not in CT but you want to talk with Stan at Second Generation Restoration, he is in Walpole, Ma. Check his site out. Call him if you like what you see. Stan will work with you.

There is also Felix Auto Body in Springfield, MA. John is the owner. Give him a shout, he will also work with you on a great driver paint job. Keep in mind painters take pride in there work and don't intentionally do a leeser job but it's in the prep and quality of materials.
Good luck,
Peter

I have seen several Corvettes that Stan has done and his body and paint work are exceptional.
