Is anyone going to the turkey rod run swap meet in Daytona Florida? Is it worth attending?

I moved out of Florida a couple years back. In all honesty the Turkey Rod Run (swap meet portion) is what I miss most from the move.

It's big. Wear comfortable shoes.

I go every year. It's huge and usually there is some unique stuff there.
I'll be there next Friday - I'll be the guy in blue jeans, t-shirt and ball cap. Can't miss me

I go every year. It really takes two days to do. One day for the swap meet and one day to check out cars.

Do you know what row / space number you`ll be at?
This is our 17th year. Is it worth it? Over 7000 cars, and more than 2500 spaces in the swap area, AND vendors booths & trailers.
As mentioned already, wear comfortable shoes!

My wife and I used to go every year when we live in Tampa..brought the Vette a couple of years, but most to look. Last year we were there my GPS watch registered over 8 miles walking in one day...so yeah, it's a big event.

Go if you can, well worth it.

Its great to go but you have to hunt for Vette parts vendors.

I will be at the the Citrus National in W Palm Beach (PBIR, formerly MOROSO) this Sat for the swap meet. Cant travel that far and fight all the crowds in Daytona.

What's the Turkey Run in March like? Is it worth attending? Any suggestions on where to stay in or near Daytona?

The Spring Run is the official "sister" show to the Turkey Run.... but only half as big. But in this case, HALF as big still means about close to 4000 customs, classics, hot rods, and a good 1500 vendor spaces. Well worth attending if you`re in the area at that time!
Many hotels near by (Days Inn, Super 8 Motel 6, etc.) for $100 or less per night

I was there today. Saw some of those C3s (posted above) still for sale. A guy I know bought an '81. Saw Ted Vernon of South Beach Classics (TV show) doing his thing with a camera crew. Beautiful weather this year with temps in the 70s and clear skies. Going to the NCRS show in Jan and the Spring Daytona Turkey Run in March. Love living in Central Florida. Daytona is only an 18-mile drive for me

This decal on my car's rear window has got to be the most photographed sticker ever!
Guess people just love the message. I should carry a handful with me to sell. lol.

Never miss it. I only live a few min away and BelAir is even closer. So this time of year is the best! I have pictures to process, I seen most of the ones above but not all.

So much more than vettes to see also.
