Is it possible to change the oil pressure gauge on the inside of my 82 Vette without pulling down the dash. I notice there are 4 screws. And is it a simple job. Thanks

Having removed the gauge pack more times than I care to say those instructions from Willcox are very good but I will add one more thing to remove. After removing the carpeted panels remove the two screws (one each side) at the back of the parking brake cover. Then remove the entire cover after taking out the two screws at the front that extend into the shifter bezel. While not so useful during removal, I find taking out the parking brake cover very useful during replacement as it make breaking plastic tabs almost impossible as you press everything (the shifter bezel in particular) into proper position.
Also depending on your radio there may be support bracket(s) at the rear of the radio. My original AM/FM/CB radio had one at the right side. It was physically very large and after the first removal I found it easier to remove the radio shaft retainers and slide the gauge pack bezel off of them leaving the radio roughly in place.

I saw this post come up again today and wondered... Why are you wanting to remove the oil pressure gauge? What is it doing. Most issues are not the gauge but something else.
An oil pressure gauge is the exact same gauge as a fuel gauge in operation. They both work exactly the same with the only differences being the face and the dampening oil inside the gauge. (Oil pressure gauges are more responsive).
So knowing this use this chart to to diagnosis a gauge issue. Hopefully it's something else and you don't need to pull the center bezel. If, with the key on, pull the sender wire and it goes all the way to the right as shown below. Next, ground it out... if it goes to zero, then the gauge is working fine and the issue is somewhere else.
