I have a collection of die cast cars from all years except the c3. They are the low priced one like costco Maisto. They sell under 20.00 dollars. Can;t seem to find any for c3 vettes. Did any company make them for those years.
I've seen 1/18 scale 1978 vettes online before, but I think they were one of the higher end brands so they were pretty expensive. I've got a couple Hot Wheels brand 1/18 scale 1969 vettes, but I'm not sure if they still make them.
I bought one of these off eBay, made/sold by Revell and Cannadays fpr ~$50. It's a 1/18 scale and was the closest match I could get to my '72. (Not my picture. Mine is sitting on my desk at work.)
I also found these TINY ones (not diecast) by Brekina (1/87 scale) for $20, which I hope to make a keychain out of.

Just bought a 1970 Corvette Coupe Bridgehampton Blue from SEARS.COM
Maisto/31202bl
Part # SPM8682208403
Hope it helps.
I looked last night so as not to mis spoke.
My muscle car edition series 50th anniversary by Maisto 1/18 scale 1968 car is Safari yellow.
It is a dead ringer for my coupe with cool details.
The only thing obviously wrong is the chrome rocker panel covers.
They should have been black.
If I find it ever bothers me I'll paint them black myself.
I got it off ebay for around $27.00.
I do not collect miniatures but this was my car to the tee so I bought it.
So they do make chrome bumper c-3's in 1/18 scale.
Check ebay.

I seen C3's die cast, but only the chrome bumper car's (68-72). I never seen a rubber bumper car..
I have several of the '78 Silver Anniversary C3 with very well, accurate detailing including under hood and interior color(oyster white like my own.). They were made by GREENLIGHT and are 1/64 scale.
Also have a 1:43 scale model of the '78 SA done by ROAD CHAMPS..
of course the Auto ART 1/16 scale model die cast...ALL are very well detailed and accurate cast metal models..I bought quite a few back when and occasionally gift them to children who look over our car and like it..ALL kids like model cars of course..(young or older)Jim
Off topic, but on at the same time, I'm searching for a 1/18 scale car hauler/auto transport. Nice rig, modern or old school with a trailer that'll hold 6-9 1/18 scale cars. If anybody has one they want to part with, or can link one up, please, help a fella out.
