Thanks to the last 2 replies. if my phone didn't die I would have figured out sooner plugs and wires were the cause. the guy I bought it from said it sat for 2 years after he bought it and sold to me he didn't know how long before that. I talked him down to 750 for it also found out its numbers matching. so I replaced the plugs and wires and btw that sucked. 2 farther wires on the driver side ran in between the block and manifold. is that normal? anyway after replacing those and putting in new battery she fired up so fast after turning the key I almost cried. so please suggest more things I can do after sitting for so long. also my rear driver side drum brake inside the rotor is stuck. believe it's e brake. how do I free that up?

OK cool glad you got it running. Now brakes, remove all calipers, check to see if they have stainless steel sleeves, they are polished & smooth & hard surface. If not my preference would be to replace with Lone Star SS O ring calipers. I used www.keenparts.com out of Cincinnati, OH they are close to me. Or use one of the Forum supplier's.
Spend about $110 per wheel or so. Next resurface the rotors, replace all the rubber brake hoses.
Do not go cheap on the brakes, you need to stop this thing.
