I bought Ole Red 11 years ago. She had sat untouched for 7 years. Luckily under a carport and out of the weather. Still, she needed lots of new stuff. In the first year I replaced brake pads and calipers, master cylinder, radiator, hoses, fuel pump, carb, stereo, exhaust system, front and rear wheel bearings, rear leaf spring bushings, power steering pump, power steering control valve, belts, shocks, tires and wheels etc., and a dozen other things I can't remember. I put off the interior until last. Finally this past month I ordered new door panels, interior trim pieces and headliner panels and got them installed last week. I've driven this car all over the South in the last few years-Cruisin the Coast Mississippi, Delta River Cruise in, Tunica. Alabama, Tennessee. Finally decided this past month that I need to finish the interior. Only thing left is new carpet and a couple of interior trim pieces. Original motor, not fast, but runs perfect and stock except for headers.
That's a good looking '77!
The Keystone Klassic wheels look just right on that car.
I may be a little biased because my daily driver had those in the 1980's.
Hey Wendell, I see you're in Jackson. I'm just up the road. I live just off the Natchez Trace, in Thomastown, about 15 miles south of Kosciusko. We drive down to Ratliff Ferry sometimes.
