OT - Lime book reprint status
Right now there are two issues:
1. Most printers now insist that I provide a pdf file of the master. In the past I was providing hard copies, and the printer was using a high speed copier. The pdf is doable with some effort.
2. Printing costs have more than doubled. I haven't found a printer yet that can do this at a reasonable cost.
For example:
The last printing of The Lime Book cost me $4.75 per copy. I sold it wholesale to NCRS for $5.75 per copy.
The last quote I got from the same printer I have been using for years was $8.50 per copy.
The Lime Book has 150 pages (roughly), printer double sided, and spiral bound.
The Lemon Book (engine codes sorted by vehicle type) was a bit larger. Both sold well, but $8.50 a copy is too much.
And I don't have a lot of free time to work on it these days.
I am still working on publishing my collection of Corvette short stories. This is a bucket list item for me.
Stay tuned....
