Tie rod end question.
Redoing the front suspension on my 72 and went to put new tie rod ends in when something didn't look normal. The driver side tie rod ends were 17-19 turns out and the passenger side was all the way in, no threads showing. Never saw anything like that. Car was never hit. Chassis is straight. Amount of shims appears normal. When I drove the car it went straight and didn't pull.

someone before has put the adjustment wrong by screwing the tie rods instead of taking the steeing wheel off and adjusting it correctly, they tried to make up steering wheel alaignment by screwing the tie rods instead. car was probably not wrecked, just Bubbfied.
