Hey there. New around here and new to corvettes. I had an opportunity to buy a half done 76 vette for 1000$ and couldn't pass it up. Got it from a buddy of mine that is transferring across country and didn't have the room for the vette anymore, the car was complete and running before he started the restoration. He has the frame all built up but hadn't the body yet. It has a 1 piece front end that looks like it's from a 78-9. Everything else looks like it's 76.
This is my first vette any suggestions on the resto would be amazing. Good sites for any body parts ect.

Welcome to the forum. Looks like a great project. The first thing I would suggest would be to get the assembly instruction manual and shop manual for your model year.

Congrats. I agree with Teamo; you're going to need the AIM and the shop manual to get the car back together.

FWIW: your front clip looks more like 80-82 style to me.

That's what I'm thinking, too. The cornering lamps are a giveaway.

Congrats and welcome aboard. Have fun with the rebuild. Take your time and get ideas from the forum on how much you want to change. 5 speeds and flared fenders will look good and give you alot of range. Looks like you can go in almost any direction you want. Keep us posted

Congratulations and again, welcome to the Corvette Forum. I believe you will find it very useful, very quickly.

Tell us more about the car and what all came with it. What are your plans for it?

Good luck... GUSTO
