For all you 73 Vette fans out there, I am sorry to say it but the 73 Spot is going away. I have not updated it in ages, basicly lost interest . Also, I recently sold my 73.
With the renewal on the URL and web space coming due I decided it was time to shut down. Gathering the info and getting it set up was a lot of fun and I hope that I was able to be helpful and provide some needed data to the users. The site should be available for a couple more weeks.

Long live the '73.
Thanks for providing all that great information for so long! It was a good resource while learning more about my '73 after I purchased it.
Sorry to read of this. April 1999 entry....you must have known Troy Roberts.
Only a handful of months before you

I am not leaving the forum. I still have my '04 Commemorative Edition convertible, so I will still be around. We retired and moved to the mountains of south central New Mexico and the house here does not have room for extra cars
Thanks for all your time in running the site. When I had my second 73 I used it many times. Hoping for good health and time to enjoy yourself and wife in retirement.

I just discovered your site and I already saw some interesting things. I have a '75 so it's quite a close year.
I would hate to see all this info and work get lost... Do you mind if I create a mirror for it? Won't have a sexy domain but at least it will remain available for posterity.
Hey Tom;
Funny, I just directed a friend to the '73 spot just yesterday, and told him how much I learned from it. Thanks for the effort you put into it. It will be missed. Good luck in New Mexico.
I just purchased my "73 about six months ago and just heard of this site. Is there any way to save the site and all the information as is on this forum. The information I've viewed over the last ten minutes is invaluable and will help '73 owners for many years to come. It would be a shame for it to go away.
Thank you Tom for your time and effort in putting all that information together. It has been a great resource. Hopefully all of us fellow 73'ers will keep the information handy and be able to help others in the future.

Tom,
Thanks so much for the great site, I used it a lot as I researched stuff for my '73 restoration. Happy retirement!
