Mike seems to be alive and well. He still posts on the NCRS forum.

I always enjoyed his posts - always accurate but never diplomatic.

Safe to say he had no problem expressing his opinion?

I last saw a post from him here about 18 months ago. I tried to contact him late in 2015, just as a courtesy. No reply.

He chose to go elsewhere for his own reasons. I miss his engineering expertise.

He was, shall we say with all political correctness, a staunch proponent of factory correct builds. Which is fine if your into that sort of thing. I too was thinking of him recently.

We never had to wonder what Mike's opinion was for long. I was concerned he may have fell ill or worse, we're all getting older, glad it wasn't either of those.

All the anti-trumpers are welcome to move to Cape Breton, lol. Hope they enjoy the winters. Beautiful place though.

Mike is a very knowledgeable guy. I too miss his posts.
