Default steering wheel re-cover question
Coil spring question answered. Thank you. Next is the steering wheel re-cover. Where can I get it re-covered? Can I do it? Year is 1979, color oyster.

do it yourself , buy a good leather wrap the correct size,
they even come with stitching/sewing instructions, easy to do.

Are we talking wheelskins or does anyone sell custom for Vettes?

I did wheelskins on a Mustang but was not happy with the look around the spokes, only flaw, can't tuck it in like a factory job.

I've seen in some of the catalogs a recovering service for your exact wheel. I think Corvette America is the specific one I was looking at.

Last week I used the Wheelskins cover on my 82. The blue was a close match and it was very easy to do. The secret, which they stress in the instructions, is be sure and pull every lace tight. Easy to use and love the results!
