Comparing 1990 Lincoln to 1991 model shows big change in taillights. Proves dealership store front picture had to be taken later than 1990? I know, way too much time on my hands!

The dealership became a carpet store after it went out of business. I remember the carpet store. They just didn't change the signage..it was a low budget carpet store..the SM Rose sign was up there for years after the dealership closed. Sorry to mess up your theory

 

Further research, and help from others on the thread, shows that the dealership was closed in 1991 after the death of Mr. Sam Rose.
