We swapped the 383 small block same size as a 327 from my 69 and dropped in woodys 454 and dropped my 383 in his 73 in a long day and half, and tina and i drove it the 2 hours home.
Both cars had same options and side pipe headers, hraders of course different sb to bb,
Exhaust hook ups
With or with out engine options to deal with like power steering or ac, brackets differ small block to bb,
Power steering lines different,
I do not recall any issues with radaitor or hoses but they are different bb to sb, so we did something there,
I ran electric fan with none of the stock shroud so that made all that part easier,
My 383 had a different fuel line set up than the 454, no big deal there,
All i can think of at the moment.

I have a 72 that I just dropped in a zz502. The big problems was the exhaust going from the headers to the rear part of the exhaust and the pulleys and brackets. Otherwise it is very straight forward. Bigger radiator, electric fans. If the car sits to low new front springs.
