The clamshells are my favorite c3 seat,
For sitting and their look, i was thrilled someone put them in my 69 bigger plus with old school velor covering...yours look super nice the red on the white, and red pin stripe

boss 338's front 18x8 with 4.5 inch backspacing but 3/8 inch hubcentric spacer
Rear 18 x 10 with 5 inch backspacing and 3/8 inch hubcentric spacer.
I bought the covers mounted on foam.. installing the foam with covers in the shells was easy as was installing the seats in the car..

Lovely... I think. Can you show more of the seats. Might be an option for my 1974 convertible but I will have to research seat backs, seat tracks, etc. But I am tempted.

The tracks that came with the seats should bolt to your front seat mount. You may have to drill a hole and use a locking nut and a washer for the rear mount..

Paul started life on the forum with a 79 'vette... which his brother still owns, I believe.

I used to have the same seats in my 1968 Race Vette (before I went to race seats) and loved them.. Great seats and easier to fit into an earlier C3 than any other seats..

I wasn't sure if it would look ok without changing all the interior to red.. So, I did a photochop to see how it would look like and I loved it.

The stock seats have no lateral support at all.. I like to drive pretty fast on on-ramps and off-ramps from the interstate and the stock seats have no support at all when performance driving..
