Paint or forget it?

Burning Brakes
I dyed my arm rest three years ago and there has been zero degradation in the appearance. I cleaned the old one thoroughly before dying it (gray). In fact, I got a new one for Christmas and the 20 year old dyed one looks almost exactly the same. There's something about that dye that handles flexing extremely well. Go for it.

Dye it. I have one of those in my interior as well, and although technically not 'correct' it looks a whole lot better if it matches:

If you use the SEM prep and vinyl die they have factory shades
It wil look natural right sheen not crank peel nothing. Fantastic stuff
Tired the cheap stuff, skipping prep had to do it over
Its 100% worth it youll love the results

I've used the dye on a few plastic interior parts and it works great. It's never come off, chipped or scratched. I put my parts out in the sun and let them warm up before application. Just clean it real good and let it dry a long time. Even when you think its dry let it dry some more. You should be fine.
