On my '72 I went with the Nitto NT555 P255/45ZR17 all around. I wanted the ability to rotate F/R. On my car I wouldn't be able to run anything larger w/o rubbing somewhere.

There are C3s running around with 255/50-17s. They are 27" tall same as stock. They could be a tight fit though.

I'm looking at 235/55/17. 27.2" vs stock 27.1" + 0.4% difference inn height by calculator, 9.3" wide vs 205/75/15 one of the available stock sizes for my year other shows 215/70/15. Actual was F70/15
