Default Calling Alan 71 please (2)

I have purchased a nos set of the brackets here (pictured) which my car has never had since I have owned it.
I am confused about where or how to install them.
Would I remove the front wheels and look toward the front of the upper inner fender?
Do they tie into the upper surround panel where the headlight frames attach to the surround?

A picture of these installed would be a great benefit if anyone has one.

Many Thanks.
Mark

well you said anyone !, I had just finished taking all the pieces off this damaged front !

my pics are not upside down , my front end is ! ok that's inside the wheel well and you can see where 10 and 11(2) go

ok this is from the front ,you would have to look in through the grill area and maybe lift the headlights up out of the way. The single slot on your new piece goes onto the end of the light reinforcement bar , the bar has a captured nut so you just need a bolt . the other two bolts (11,s ) go through the glass onto 10 . your drawing shows the orientation of the curved side

is that a help ?

These bolt to the fender skirt then to each end of the headlight reinforcement.

What year is your car?????

68's didn't come with the front header reinforcements. They were added in 69.

Thanks so much for the photos, that really helps!
When I get back to the paint shop I will have a look at this area again.
Many Thanks!
