As we were stripping the paint, we realized the passenger door has some rust. I am unsure at what point the door would be considered irrecoverable. the door closes and opens correctly, window (manual) goes up and down, and it locks (unlike the driver side door).
I will attache some pictures of the rust I found so you can make a recommendation.
There is rust at the top and all along the bottom of the door.
My opinion would be to replace the door. It would take a very talented person to cut & replace the metal, and a lot of time which equals $$. And there is still rust on the inside.
Look for a un-rusted door and car will be 4ever Happy.
