Well it's time for renewal and, I got a quote from another company a lot cheaper one at that. Both are popular here on the forum . How can they have such a difference in price? I've been with Hagerty for about 11 years and, I hate to change
I have two cars insured with NCM and would highly recommend them.
+1
I just added another car to the stable and both Bobbie Jo and Adam were perfect to work with. I switched from Hagerty to NCM about 4 years ago, never looking back. That said, I've (thankfully) never had a claim. I've heard that both of these companies are good to work with if that happens, however, NCM was considerably less expensive for me.
I had hagerty for about 15 yrs ,then my insurance went up ,dont know why ,I went to hecock in florida ,and it is just about half the price ,I have a 72 and a 84!
I've never had a claim and have changed insurance companies often due to sudden increases of over 20%. They always tell me that their rates are calculated by the area that you live in and the amount of their claims in that area. That is why the next company is cheaper because they have a different claim situation in that area. So blame your neighbors.
State Farm, agreed value $25,000 on a '77, $215.40 per year, no restrictions of any kind. I kinda thought that was pretty cheap.
What is NCM running you guys?
FWIW, I have had Grundy for about 10 years. I like their no mileage limits and pretty cheap. I hear good things about NCM but have not checked out their restrictions.
