Great to be back!
Hello All,
I haven't been on the forum for many months, and, believe it or not, I really missed you guys! Last May, my wife was diagnosed with stage iv colon cancer that had spread to her liver. She has had some surgeries and now we are battling the tumors in her liver. The good doctors at UPMC in Pittsburgh have put a pump under her skin that directs high potency chemo drugs directly to her liver. Thus, we will be travelling from Virginia to Pittsburgh every other week for the next several months. The doctors are pretty optimistic for this liver-directed therapy and my wife is in good spirits.
As you can infer, I have been pretty busy between working, taking care of her, and going to so many doctors' visits, there has been very little time to do anything to my '70 vert. However, My SST TKO is in my garage, waiting for my vacation next month to get installed. So, I am getting pretty excited about the upcoming Spring weather and getting the C3 back into the sunshine and onto the asphalt!
I got an email from the forum about somebody posting to a thread I was subscribed to, and, of course, it was from 2-1/2 years ago!! I know how y'all hate those "resurrected threads", so it made me want to check it out.
So, I will be lurking much more frequently and catching up on all the posts and builds, particularly of the trans installs-- I remember some members were having trouble with drive angles/balancing/vibes.
