69 Steering Column Swap

69 Steering Column Swap
I am contemplating swapping a standard steering column for one with tilt on my 69 coupe. How ugly of a job is this, any words of advice?

easy job, well worth it if you can locate a tilt column.

Agreed. Falls on the easy end of projects on the car. Tilt column prices will give you sticker shock however.

Did this swap a couple of months ago. Simple, straight forward job.....but you will need two sets of hands. Not a solo job.

Yeah I have been watching a few on eBay and look nice but you certainly do pay. I'll look for Jim's write ups. I can live with the column but sure would be nice to not have it column in my lap.
