Default 72 Radiator Help!

I got a radiator from corvette central (link below) and it doesn't fit. Car is 1972, 350, 4 speed, with air. Hard to find original radiator for this. The outlet on the bottom of the passenger side does not have the dent in the right spot. That outlet is resting on the sway bar. Past return date. Can I dent it myself? I still have the original radiator. I could maybe bring it to a shop and have the outlet from the old one put on the new one. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Is there a reason that you didn't take the old one to a radiator shop and have it repaired/ recored?

I brought it to a radiator shop I have used before and trust their opinion. There were pin holes all over the sides and the core was shot. I would have had to bought a whole other radiator to have the correct side tanks.

DeWitts, look no further, year specific, direct fit, you will never look back. Must have good seal at shroud or you will not get the cooling from even the best radiator.

IMO , Take them BOTH to your trusted radiator shop so they can line them up and measure them .Tell them what the problem is and they will fix it properly way cheaper than buying another unit . Also get them to pressure test the new one before you put it in your car.

Take them both to the radiator shop. Have them saw the lower tube off the old radiator and solder it onto the new one.
