Default 1975 Rearview mirror

My mirror in my 75 is starting to look a little funky. Standard mirrors are cheap enough to replace, but mine has the map light. My question is, has anybody ever replaced the glass? I see they sell replacements.

I replaced the glass in mine several years ago, it's held up well.

Was it hard to Do? Seems pretty easy in theory, but I've been wrong before.

It's been a while ago, but I believe I just separated the rubber and glass from the mirror frame then used a razor blade to separate the rubber from the glass. I glued the new glass in with black weather strip adhesive.
