Tires, what are decentlnes?
I have a 1970 big block coupe and want to run 215/70-15, whhich is the replacement for the stock bias ply. I have no investment in any particular brand. I don't see the car being raced, won't be going over 120 mph. Essentially just need general purpose tires that have decent dry/wet characteristics. I have a Discount Tire, NTB, Firestone Complete Auto Care, and Tire Rack installers near by.
What do you guys recommend?
Raised White Letters - you are limited to BF Goodrich TA Radials & Cooper Cobra's (there may be another manufacturer out there?).
White Walls - the same as above plus a few more manufacturers are available.
Black Walls - will provide the most options of manufacturers.
While 215/70-15 is the closest replacement for the F70-15's, the 225/70-15's also work nicely and may give you more options.
