Any C3 Owners Live in a Condo or an Apartment?
Wondering if any of you guys live in a condo/apartment, and if so, do you store your car in the underground parking, or have you made other arrangements such as garage rental/professional storage?

I live in a condo. I have four cars though so me and a buddy rent a warehouse in an industrial area where we keep our cars. I do take my cars home occasionally. Needless to say I'm not the people's favorite resident there with noise my cars make. Especially if I take one to work early in the morning.

Many of us are not our neighbor's favorite when we leave early in the AM for work in our cars. Headers and Flowmasters on mine will definitely let someone know I'm leaving. Is that 2 79's I see? I love it, although I might be a little biased.

When I lived in Edmonton, and then again in Calgary, I lived in condos and stored my 1970 in the underground parkade. In both cases the parkade was heated, I kept the car covered, and I got spots up against a wall on two sides. It was fine, but I probably wouldn't do it again - it's just too hard to maintain them in a "public" place like that. In Calgary, a friend had a very nice shop, and I took my car there when I wanted to work on it.

Red is a 78 and blue is a 79.

I find the loud cars that go by our house very annoying so when I put a new exhaust on my 79 I plan on putting on the quietest mufflers I can find. I don't have any idea how I'm going to find such mufflers though as all the Corvette mufflers I see are advertised as being noisy - you don't see Corvette muffler sellers saying how quiet their mufflers are.

When I'm annoyed all the time by loud cars I can't in all good conscience annoy others with my noisy car, that would be awfully hypocritical. Plus, I think when people see a flashy car that they automatically associate with obnoxious noise levels and its quiet it makes a statement about consideration for others that I like.

Exactly. Motorcyclists are the worst with their obnoxious noise machines - I hate motorcyclists, almost every one is needlessly loud.

When you said "Priya, Its a Corvette for GOD SAKES." the obvious implication of your statement was that because its a corvette it has to be noisy.

The result is that we've been renting while we look for a new house for 6-7 months.
I coughed up the extra 100/month to garage mine during our stay here.
I have to admit I both tinker with it less and drive it less because I worry about the closeness of our neighbors. Plus my car is like Harley loud, so I want to be somewhat considerate of them.
We are just about to close on a new house, so will have a larger garage with a new lift - cant wait to get back to that kind of personal space.
