4.11's. That was on the ride home in 4th gear M20 transmission.

I bought mine as a driver, but even if it was a top-flight car I would still drive it. I bought it to ride, not as an investment. I was looking for a different picture, but couldn't find it. So here's a picture of both of our toys. That is a Saturn Sky Redline, a two liter 4 banger but it makes more horsepower than the vette does. At least I think it does. The vettes previous owner made it a 383 stroker, so maybe it's making more than the 260hp that the sky makes. Don't know, they're both fun to drive and I don't track them.

Just got back from a 480 mile round trip yesterday to Charlotte and back. Next Wed. it's 330 mile round trip to Atlanta and back. Company business so they pay me .55 a mile to drive my Vette. Love my job!!

Its odd that when people bought these cars new. they were their only car in most cases so they got driven everyday all the time and repaired. Now some are too nice to drive, and that goes for any car that has been restored. I have lots of friends with very nice cars that never get driven.

My vette in the last 6-7 years has only got around 2000 miles on it. Its a clean car, but not a show car,yet i hardly drive it. That will change starting this year. i didnt stick $25K into a car to let it sit for the next guy who buys it. lol

I have a nice C3 with under 30k original miles. Part of me doesn't want to run too many more miles on her, but hell, they were built to be driven. I try to get it on the road at least one day a weekend, weather permitting. (To be honest, I don't drive at night, or in the rain)
