Speedo gear and window switches
I have done a google search to find a link back to this site. lol the search here does not work for me?
Any way i just want a confirmation. I have also used the TCI calculator too. But nothing like real data from real people who have tried a part and got a real result.
80 vette Th-350 trans, swapping 3.08 gears for 3.55. Rear tire is a 295/50/15 book said 26.8" actual measured size 26" i have an 8 tooth on the shaft, so i would need a driven gear with 22 teeth which would be the black or grey depending where you buy it from. Is this the correct tooth count to make speedo accurate.
Does the bullet speedo gear housing ever wear enough to cause a leak, or will changing the O ring seal be sufficient.
Lastly i bought window switches 8 years ago when i built the car, and they were both china crap from Ecklers. They stick in the down position, you have to manually move then back to the middle. Is anyone supplying a better quality sw? or is it all the same china crap.

I ordered 2 new ones. Tom told me they are hit and miss. HAHAHA great products. Anyway will see what happens when i get them.My factory originals are long gone. Thanks for the video.
