1981 return gas line
I have an 81 and the carb had already been converted from electronic when I bought it. It did have a Rochester on it. I have since rebuilt the engine and change everything and now have a holley 670 street avenger on it. On the old carb it had a gas return line on the back of the carb that went back to the gas tank. Now that I don't need it with the holley should I cap it or just put a little air breather plug of some kind? I only have about 400 miles on the new build and I had it plugged but notice a lot of suction when I stop to put gas and unscrewed gas cap. Didn't happen before. It's also not affecting anything with the engine or carb. Just curious what other have done? Thanks!

I drilled a hole in the underside of the cap on my '81. I'm pretty sure it's a non-vented cap on the '81. Cap the return line if your not using it.
