I have been putting my a/c back together and thought I had everything.
I have the Willcox diagram for 1974 Corvette. c/w wiring and components.
1) I can't find my pressure switch.. I found wire coupler with Tan/green wire which I believe is for it.
2) Where is a/c relay?
3) Where is comp sw?
4) By master switch does it mean the thumb wheel on the console that control A/C in the car?
Thanks for any help and Have a Great Day!

If memory serves, there are 2 micro switches in the thumb wheel assembly that could be the ones labeled master sw and comp sw.
The pressure switch was a single terminal on the back of the compressor on some years which grounded the thermal fuse (which I don't see in that diagram). I seem to recall that GM went to a different means to handle the low refrigerant situation.
In other words, the diagram you received might not be correct for your 73.
Thanks for the pic. I don't see any cutout switch on back like your pic? I see a threaded fitting on left side back of comp that looks like an 8/32 bolt would go into. No sign of cut out switch. I know the engine is a 1973 and the # on a/c compressor is Delco air 5910738 code 041871.Is the code Apr 18 1971? I know parts on car are from 73 vette and some items like 4 speed from a 1967 so mixed up, I have the connector green /blk for front of compessor. And another green/black in coupler behind which may be for a fuse? My problem is when I plug front connector in clutch on compressor engages all the time (I hear and see it.
Here are some pictures of the back of my a/c compressor. First picture shows the back of the compressor with the switch and the second shows the wire connected to the switch.
The a/c hasn't worked since purchasing the car. On my 'to-do' project list to fix. PO used generic a/c hoses that are too long and wraps around the compressor. That's the hose at the bottom of the pictures.
