Default Vette crashed in Fargo episode

Well, the POS C3 Vette owned by the parole officer in the FX series "Fargo" got trashed in last night's episode. The PO brother's lawyer deliberately backed his Hummer into the Vette (two times) while it was parked in the diner parking lot. Even though the car was a real beater, it still made me cringe seeing a C3 get demolished. The dimwit PO will probably still try to drive it. Good TV series if you like really weird people in MN.

Yes, made me sad too.
BTW that is Ewan McGregor that plays both the brothers.
Great series. I've watched all of the seasons.

Saw it too...just to see the '75 Vette being beaten around in the snow.

While I am always sad to see a 'Vette die....I appreciated that the producers had the foresight to grab a '75 beater and give it one last blast 'in the sun' so-to speak.

If it was (say) a 70, I'd've been pissed!

They couldn't have spent more than $4000 on that puppy.

In Ferris Bueller, they made a fiberglas mold and launched the 'Ferrari'.

Do you make a fiberglass mold of a fiberglass car???? LOL...nah! just buy a '75.

Anyone notice the messed with the emblems.....Someone has two 'Stingray' emblems for sale on ebay right now! Looks like it has C-6 emblems in that area.

That's not a '75. '75's had the Stingray emblem on the fender. I believe it's a '77 which had the cross flags on the fender.

Yeah, we were like,, no, no, not the vette,,, whammo! Even the ole beater sliding around I'm the snow is cool to me.

All the badging and steering wheel suggest a 77, but it has 75 or earlier door panels.

she held up pretty good against that hummer bumper. I hope we get to see it roll around with the battle scars. The new season is pretty good right outta the gate.

.
The only difference between 75 and 77 door panels is the wood grain trim vs black trim. Easily swapped.

Yep, I stand corrected. The 77 interior had some changes moving toward the 78 interior, steering wheel, climate controls, counsel, center gauge bezel,,,,, for some reason i thought it included the door panels.
