If you mean the "C O R V E T T E" badging it too is attached with studs and nuts with a sturdy backing plate behind.
I couldn't find a reasonable way to access the nuts so I used 3M tape on mine.
You might be able to access the nuts by removing the gas tank filler surround. Mine was dry and cracked so I didn't want to completely destroy it by removal. New ones are soft and subtle.
