title says it all, I want to update my insurance and i'm switching to Hagerty.
I got a couple of leads, but thought I'd ask here. I'm hearing around $300.00 for an appraisal that will suffice for the collector insurance folks, does that sound about right? any feedback is always appreciated!

Guess it depends on how much you are insuring you car for. I got $35000 agreed value for my '69 427 without even having to send a picture. I have had Hagerty for a few years on my '72 Nova so that may have made a difference.

Corvette Express in Vacaville, CA. did a full safety inspection on my 73 when I purchased it. I'm not sure if they do appraisals for insurance though. You may give them a call. If they don't, they will probably know someone who does.

I didn't need an appraisal either. Just pictures and the amount I wanted to insure it for.
