Makes you wonder why redlines were not an option for 70-72 as they look great.

Well they're an option nowadays and look great with that red interior.
Mine came with white stripes and PO2's originally, which seems like the least "cool" wheel and tire combo today. Just proves that tastes change over time and the early '70's were half a lifetime ago. Same thing with colors with orange and green being the most popular back then and red being ho-hum and black not even offered.

Johnny white stripe tires with PO2's is still cool looking I love it. As far as red stripes not being offered for 70-72 I am curious as to why they were not an option. My friend has a Ontario Orange 72 in his shop along with the SCG 72 above both getting under hood detailing done will get pics when it is done.

Love them all but particularly the Ontario Orange/Saddle as it brings back a lot of childhood memories. I grew up in a single parent household with my dad. Our family car beginning early 1973 was a 72 Ontario Orange/Saddle with a 454/4 Speed. Still remember the new car smell of that Vette. That's the one that got me hooked on C3's for life.
