There is no question in my mind the car is a true LT1 and the engine block matches. The down side is I don't know yet how much of the details are missing. There is no ignition shielding, wrong valve covers, carb, intake? Someone already noted the distributor. This makes it a good driver candidate but as far as getting it to a point of NCRS judging would be rather expensive.
Ref your original post. If you don't buy this car you don't really want one.
Well a lot has changed since I searched for my first Corvette. I now have a 64 which is "almost" completely redone. So I am not really in the best position to buy another. Garage space, expendable funds, time, among other things are all different. I'm away on vacation now and noodling on this quite a bit. Oh, and I have made an offer.....
I've decided for various reasons not to pursue this car further. It is a great solid car but the flares on the rear fenders could cost too much to remove. There are also a lot of engine parts missing. Lastly, I do not need another old Corvette in my life at this time.
