Default Chevy Block- 3956618 - Whats the value

Hello,
i came into owning a Chevy Block.
Hoping someone can tell me more information about it:

Casting #: 12GM 3956618
Block Date code: B198

i am wondering what the value is:
including the carbs/Intake/fan/oil-pan/stand

3956618 is a generic small block which could be configured as a 302, 327, or a 350.

The engine ID suffix code stamped on the pad on the block at the front of the passenger's side head will give you the specifics.



You might get a better idea of possible value once you confirm what you have.

It's a used Chevy SB engine needing a rebuild, about $250-$350 value depending on who would want it.

The last 350 long block I put on CL I ended up giving away to get it out of my garage.
