T5 and Parking Brake Cable

T5 and Parking Brake Cable
I converted my 73 frrom a 4 speed to a 5speed (T5). The T5 is longer so when the driveshft was shortned it moved the U joint and yoke back.
I am installing the parking brake system and now the cable that comes from the handle is too close to the U joint and yoke, it hits slightly.
I had to relocate the pulley from between the ears of the bracket to the outside of the bracket toward the passenger side. I used a longer bolt and filled the gap between the bracket ears with washers to make it solid. It all clears now and seems like it will work.
I was just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and if so what was your solution?

Did 2 swaps and they cleared the pulley, cable. I did however have to massage the passenger side tunnel in both of them for the yoke-shaft to clear. Was no biggie at all.
