Default Finished Spring/Summer Projects W/ Pics

Going into this spring, there were 2 things I needed to finish on my 76; replace valve cover gasket and get new exhaust. As always, it ballooned a bit into a bigger project but I think it turned out pretty well. Ultimately I decided to go with side pipes for the exhaust, which I mounted and installed myself. As for the engine bay, I got a Permadry Fel Pro gasket (has worked great and have had no leaks) and decided to go ahead and get a powder coated chevy orange open air cleaner. I bought new valve covers and painted them myself along with a new breather. Kind of going for a no chrome, black & Chevy Orange look. Below are my before and after pics. Tell me what you think.

Nice car the side pipes look good but some elbow grease in the engine compartment will go a long way.

Agreed and do plan to do this when I get some time. Anyone have a great product or just a ton of Brake Cleaner?

The side pipes are a nice addition and anything to enhance the under hood appearance goes a long way.
