Looking good! I have to get off my butt and get my lights complete.

Maybe drive it up and get a lesson on painting???

Are you talking about the "belt line"....just above the side marker light?

being very familiar with the development of this conversion , i can say it was not a "flaw in the design" , in the earlier versions of the plug the line was added , i can say it looked a little better from the side , but from the rear , top and 3/4 angles it looked ....bad. the main purpose was to leave the body of the car absolutely untouched so it could be converted back if there was ever a desire to do so , flattening out the side of the body was out , and the rear view with the sharp line as prominent as it is on the sides carried to the tail , completely lost the early look that was wanted , and looked like an after though that didn't belong ,the end result that is on the car went through about 20 different versions before a mold was made , trust me it was tweaked and retweaked many many times , with an eye for the overall look.

I didn't take it as criticism , i just felt an explanation was needed.

All im gonna say is it takes a hell of a lot of hard work to make a part like this the goal was an option other than stock or 80 style and this is it,

Some people simply can not afford a full rear clip swap at bobyshop prices or can tackle the inbetween like dg and priya have, their projects proved just how much work it really is,

So this is the answer,

If i had a 74 to 77 which might just happen i would run the rear conversion leave the nose stock, the 73 look grew on me,

I like that one better. The stinger look out of place IMHO

I'm not into body modification, but you did a really nice job on this. Very unique and in keeping with the look of a Corvette.

I love it. Nice work! The bubble back window with "chrome style" bumpers and the duck tail just look stunning together.

It looks great.....but I'm a metal/chrome bumper fan from the 1960s.

FYI to other members.......there are lots of trade-offs...the owner of the car does it the way she or he likes best.......which is usually the harder way......LoL.

I think the rear slope on a '77 coupe "sugar scoop" is a lil less prominent and this mod is going to look great on a '77...we'll know in about a month from now.

This is for Priya , the earlier pic was a little too close up. I want to thank everyone for the kind words , it is much appreciated.
