Default QA1's??

So my local speed shop has pretty good pricing on a set of QA1 coil overs for the front end with a 550lb spring (a medium range for their offering) and a single adjust on the shock. I have a SB in the car and it will be a streetable weekender with the occasional auto cross event for fun. I realize it's my ride but I was looking for an opinion on this set up from any that have any feed back.

I have the same shocks and 600 pounds in my BBC. Floats like a caddy if I only use 4 clicks LOL.

Of course I can make it feel every pebble on the road.

I have the qa1 Coil overs on my 73 Restro mod LS conversion, have not finished it yet so I'm hopping I can dial them in to the ride of my liking.

What spring rate are you using?

I don't have coil overs, but am running QA1 single adjustables with the VB 550 lb front coils. Ride is pretty decent with the shocks set on 3 clicks.

FWIW
I considered going coilover, but for me the cost was an issue. I got the ride height I wanted with the 550 coils, and the shock tuning with the QA1's.....for a lot less money.

I have the non-adjustables. No complaints.

It appears that 3 or 4 clicks seems to be a good starting point.. Thanks

Thanks guys, as I see no negativity on the product looks like I'll move in this direction.

Thanks for the feedback.
