Looking to replace stock oil pan on my '76 L48.
I notice two dimples on the bottom that I assume are for suspension clearance. Appreciate part number and source.
Thanks

Straighten it or have someone straighten it. Might need some heat.
Clean both surfaces with something like alcohol or lacquer thinner or brake cleaner. You must clean out the bolt holes and get the oil out of them no mater what. Then you a product called "The Right Stuff." Thin coat on both sides of the gasket. Use a lock-tight or something on the bolts. Snug it up and let it sit. This will allow the gasket sealer to dry. If you tighten too soon, the gasket sealer can act as a lubricant and the gaskets can squeeze out of place or distort.
Tap the bolt holes down along the edge of pan flange so they are flat. You should not have any problems. Technique is more important than anything. Consider using a single piece gasket if not particular. JMHO. Good luck!
