Intake Manifold Bolt
I am trying to remove the intake manifold on my 77. All bolts are out except for the stud shown on the bottom row in the picture. A 9/16" wrench fits all the bolts, but not this one. I tried 1/2" and a 14mm but those won't get it either. A shallow well socket isn't deep enough. A deep well socket is too long and won't clear the manifold. Any tips on removing this?

It's still a 3/8 bolt with a 9/16 head. It's down in a hole and most wrenches are too thick to get on it. Take 2 3/8 nuts and thread them on, then tighten the 2 against each other. Then use the lower one to back it out.

The nut and jam nut is a valuable work around. Have used it on more than one occasion.
