Strange "does not start anymore" issue

For the records:
Opened the carb, cleaned all channels/jets (but did not see any dirt), changed float, accelerator pump and float needle/seat. Adjusted float level. Everything is fine again.

Mine had a crank but no start situation once a few years ago shortly after my ZZ4 install. Even though I had rebuilt the Q jet, the accelerator pump was destroyed by ethonal (sp). It didn't shoot any gas into the motor. I think it was a NAPA kit.
